Vin Diesel has stated in several interviews that Furious 7 was "For Paul" while The Fate of the Furious was "From Paul" who, before his death, wished that the 8th installment would feature more street racing. This explains why the beginning of the film does in fact open with a street race, paying homage to the first two films in the series whose opening scenes contained street races involving Paul Walker's character. Dom uses a coke tab to remove a vacuum line off the engine. Letty ask if the car can handle that much boost. In fact, if you remove a vacuum line off a turboed engine, you will get less boost, and less power. It also appears it is getting removed from the distributor which will lessen the timing, removing more power from the engine. See more »

I liked the previous movies of the franchise. They were decent action flicks, exactly something you go to watch in a cinema with friends. But this? This is beyond awful, it's worse than a parody. Every line is a cliché, the acting is not even mediocre, the plot line is exactly like something a 12 year old boy has come up with.
There's no way the 10 star reviews are NOT paid. This movie is an insult to anyone who pays to see it.
